About Threadfast Engineers in Congleton

Threadfast Engineering 1984 is an established family run business trading in Congleton for over 45 years. Based in Royle Street opposite Congleton Snooker Club, Threadfast has an enviable reputation for first class customer service. Our dual approach to sales enables us to tailor our service to meet the distinct needs of both Account and Trade Counter Customers – we supply the right product on time for the smallest repair to high volume production lines.

Threadfast sold in excess of 3½ million items last year and has over 10,000 lines available from our extensive stock which has built up over forty years of trading. We pride ourselves on offering great choice at highly competitive prices on fasteners (standard and non-standard nuts and bolts), PPE, abrasives, adhesives, silicon, stainless steel and construction fixings together with hand and power tools from top brands including DORMER, LYNDON, TENG, SEALEY, BAHCO, LED LENSOR, SILVERLINE, STANLEY, FAITHFULL, DRONCO, MAKITA and DEWALT.

Threadfast’s core business focuses on supplying local, national and international Account Customers. We offer a FREE delivery service to local businesses in tandem with a tailored KAN BAN restocking service which ensures that your business has the fasteners you need when they need them.

Threadfast’s well-stocked Trade Counter provides a complementary sales outlet and our friendly sales team offer personalised and extensive product knowledge to help people choose appropriate products for their building, DIY or restoration jobs. We understand that having the right quantity and item at the right time can make a big difference to your project.

New initiatives this year include working in partnership with Macclesfield College during the successful launch of our new Apprenticeship Scheme. We are committed to continuously improving our ecological footprint and have introduced recyclable packaging into our distribution process whenever practically possible.

Continued partnership with TOOLBANK: REAL DEALS FOR YOU (As Seen On TV) during our festive campaign gives customers access to a vast selection of products from 27 world class brands – including 89 best-in-class tools and accessories, over 50 new and exclusive lines and some real industry winners - at VERY low prices. Details can be found on our Facebook page or contact us for a catalogue.

We greatly value our new and existing customers, many of whom have been loyal to Threadfast for a very long time.
